5歳からプログラミングを始め、現在エディンバラ大学(University of Edinburgh)の2回生でInfomatics(Artificial Intelligence人工知能)を勉強しています。
来年(2012年)夏に来日し、3ヶ月ほどの短期の仕事ができればと考えています。状況によっては休学をして1年仕事をすることも考慮に入れています。
日本語はまだまだ勉強中ですが、来年までには日常会話レベル、JLPT2を取得することを目指しています。

Eコマースのウェブサイトで、健康食品・サプリメントの通信販売をしています。Magentoというソフトウェアを使用し、日本人留学生と協力してデザイン・SEO対策など試行錯誤しながら改善を行っています。

主に学生を対象としたクーポンを提供するWEBサイトです。スマートフォンのアプリケーションと連携して新しい形のビジネスを構築しています。

Odesk(https://www.odesk.com/)というフリーランスウェブサイトにてフリーランサーとして働き始め、計250時間、14ものプロジェクトを経験しました。全てのプロジェクトで全顧客に非常に満足していただき、5つ星の評価を維持させていただいています。

私が取り組んだ大きなプロジェクトの中には:

・SMART　CREATORスマートクリエーター　
テンプレートを基本とした未経験者のための簡単なインターフェースを使ったWEBページクリエーターです。Adobe AIR(Javascript, Jquery)を使用して開発しました。

・INSURANCEPY　インシュランセピー
各保険会社からの自動車保険見積価格の情報を収集しユーザーに提示する複雑なバックエンドです。daemonというプログラム、Apache Thriftというシステムを使いwebfrontと通信しPythonで開発しました。

・SHAREPIK　シャレピック(http://sharepik.com/)
イメージホスティングWEBサイトです、PHPで開発し、Symfonyというフレームワーク、アマゾンS3をイメージストーレッジとして使用しました。

・LAWDRILL　ロードリル
米国における法律事務所のためのカスタムメイドの情報収集プログラムです。複数の公的WEBサイトの情報を集め、弁護士の書類作成や裁判の準備に役立てます。C#で開発されました。

・CARAMEL　カラメル
自動ウェブフォーム提出ソフトウェアです。このアプリケーションはURLを行き来して有効な連絡先記入フォームを探し出し、自動で入力します。C#で開発しSQliteをストーレッジとして使用しました。

Since I started working on oDesk, I have logged 250 hours on hourly contracts and completed 15 fixed-price contracts. All of my clients have been extremely satisfied with the work that I have done; this has enabled me to maintain a 5-star feedback.
Some of the largest projects that I have worked on are:

・SMARTCREATOR, a template-based squeeze page creator with a simplified interface for non-technical users. Developed in Adobe AIR (Javascript, Jquery).

・INSURANCEPY, a complex scraping backend which interacts with several auto insurance websites to retrieve and aggregate quotations for a user. Developed in Python, as a daemon that communicates with a web frontend using Apache Thrift.

・SHAREPIK (http://sharepik.com/), an image hosting website. Built in PHP using the Symfony framework, using Amazon S3 for image storage.

・LAWDRILL, a scraper custom-made for a United States-based law practice which aggregates data from several public local websites to help lawyers document and prepare their cases. Built with C#.

・CARAMEL, an automated web form submission software. The application crawls a list of URLs and attempts to identify valid contact forms and fill them. Built with C#, with SQlite for storage.

・Kenshokusapuri.com, an e-commerce website, based on Magento Community Edition.

• studentUKdeals.com, a voucher website dedicated to students, integrated with a smartphone application.
